the closer we get, haiku by D. Claire Gallagher $7.00
the closer we get, haiku by D. Claire Gallagher

D. Claire Gallagher (1941-2009) followed many avocations, including potter, educator, technical writer and naturalist, and used them all to good advantage in her vocation as a poet. Her knowledge of the natural world was effortlessly available to all who knew her, and blossomed in many of her best poems. Her perception of human interaction was just as acute, and it is between these two poles—the world of nature and the world of human behavior—that her poetry oscillates.
