Max Verhart write haiku in both Dutch and English. His poetry has been translated into more than a dozen languages and published in prominent haiku journals and anthologies around the world. In addition, he is a well-known translator of haiku, as well as editor of Vuursteen (the oldest haiku journal in Europe) and for the Red Moon Anthology series, and has served four years as president of Haiku Circle Netherlands.
